AX 2012 R3 VM - how to access Modern POS (beta)?

Hello, I have the AX 2012 R3 VM running and would like to see the Modern POS functionality.  When i click on Retail POS (beta) icon, I get the message "Retail POS (beta) cannot be opened using the Built-in Administrator account. Sign in with a different account and try again."

I am using the generic Administrator/pass@word1 combination to log into the VM.

Did I miss instructions on how to access modern Retail POS (beta)?
