I am facing a strange issue while upgrading from AX 2012 R2 to AX 2012 R3. I am following the steps mentioned in in place upgrade guide but getting the issue while upgrading database.
Here is the issue details
1 From AX 2012 R3 setup, I choose configure existing database and choose AX 2012 R2 database and left the baseline database field empty.
2. Then I select the Foundation model, Upgrade model and Labels model to import in database.
3. After that I mentioned the temp location of AX 2012 R2 model store to be exported and then re-imported into the baseline database by setup.
4. Now when it comes to the importing the foundation upgrade model by setup, It stuck here and keep showing me "Installing model 'Foundation Upgrade' to database. This setup doesn't go ahead and keep displaying this for 12 hours infect more than that but nothing happened.
5. I investigated this and noticed my AX model database transnational log file is increasing while setup keep showing this message and it goes more than 70 GB may be more than that as I am running out of disk space.
