We recently upgraded to R2 CU7. Post upgrade, while running the modelstore import command, we got into a situation where the transaction log kept getting full. We had 30 G of drive space available and the modelstore file was 4-5G in size. The recovery mode was set to Full.
My question is - Is there a rough estimate as to the ratio of the modelstore file size to the amount of free space that is expected on the transaction logs ? For instance, in our situation, we had about 5-6 times the free space but it still wasn't sufficient. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
