Not sure if anyone else has discovered this work around in AX 2012. A user on someone else's computer can simply reset and get the certificate for the electronic signature and then electronically sign as the user that is logged on. Obviously the user would need to know how to do this, but this does not seem very secure at all. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to secure this. I was thinking that creating an electronic signature on the creation/reset of an electronic signature would be one option, but I am not sure if any of the data of the reset and grabbing of the certificate is stored in a table. I know that the password is not stored in a table, and I was not sure if the keys that are created are stored in one either. I was also thinking that there might be a way to turn off the option of resetting the certificate for a user, but was not sure how to do this. We are in the implementation stage of the program, so I am still new to AX.
Thanks in advance.
