Hi, we're setting up security for some of our users that will be responsible for designing and managing formula versions in AX 2012 process manufacturing. After investigation, I found out that the Product design manager role has all the rights to create and approve formulas but cannot activate them. Only the Production supervisor role supplied with AX 2012 has that privilege (duty). Does anybody know why have these roles been designed that way and what are others doing to allow formula development teams to perform their daily tasks? I know I could just give them the Production supervisor role but it also comes with a series of privileges and duties that I might now want to give them.
