The BOM in AX is created based on the part list of drawings. But it’s not necessary to create another new drawing due to subtle differences of the part list, these differences don’t affect the structure. For example, we have a dwraing as common drawing, it can be used several different projects, only one item's material will be different. In project_A, this item on the common drawing will use "A4" material, in the project_B, this item will use "316l" material, it's tiny difference, others on drawing are same. Therefore, how to create the BOM, we have to created several BOMs due to this tiny difference? we don't want to add another new drawing and new BOM, unless there is no other solution. I also don't want to update the same BOM again and again. Sometime, project_A & B will be pushed at the same time.
