hi all,
I've got a customer that a few months ago migrated from 2009 to AX2012.
aparently everything is running fine, but some users complain about performance in concrete scenarios (searching from invoices, populating combos, closing invoices, etc.).
under this scenario, IT set sysadmin privileges on the database server to the users, and aparently the issues are gone.
I'm a SQL guy, and under no circunstance I recommend customers to have that level of privileges to users, so here's where we are.
Users say that running as sysadmin everything is ok, however, when we revoke that permission, users start complaining...
I understand that AX might have a complex permissions chain, but not at the level of making so slow the regular work to the users.
these are my questions:
-Have you seen this scenario? How did you fixed it?
-Would you point me to the stored procedures or tables that manages the permissions in AX? maybe we could help indexing, or understanding how AX permissions chain works.
Thanks a lot!
