Processing change order type from 'Journal' to 'Sales order' as batch job?

Dear AX experts,

Is it possible at a Sales order to perform a change in order type from 'Journal' to 'Sales order' and the subsequent processing as a batch job?

I am asking this because for large Sales orders it can take 20-30 minutes to process. These large Sales orders occur in one of our companies about once a month.

I am running AX 2012 R1 CU3.
