Trigger for delivered goods

Hi there,

Does anybody know if it's possible to get receive a notification/trigger in AX when the goods are delivered?

For example: Purchase receive invoice of supplier so they know the goods has been transported to the customer (direct delivery). From the Sales side they want to see if the goods are shipped / will be shipped to the customer.
