Upgrade AX 2012 R2 CU7 to R3 -- Import ISV models

Hello,

When performing an In-place upgrade of AX 2012 R2 CU7 to R3, we are on the step "Import ISV-provided models into the Development System"

We have received the updated model from the ISV and successfully imported into our development system.

My question is do we need to run the post import steps (AOS Restart, Compile, and Sync) or can we skip those steps and continue onto the next layer and model
