Security Role upgrade

Hi All ,

As we all know that lot of funcitonality has been changed from Ax 2009 to Ax 2012 >....

There is a new functionality called security roles in Ax 2012 , which was not availble in Ax2009.

So my question is when we want to upgrade from Ax 2009 to Ax 2012 , does automatically security roles also upgrade or afte data upgrade do i need to manually assign the roles to users in Upgraded version (ex .. 2012 ).

What about your thoughts on this ?
