AX2012 Hardware Configuration - AOS to SQL Network connection

Hello,

I am in the early stages of implementing a new AX2012 install company wide, and have a quick question about the network connection that is required between the Active Object Servers and the SQL server (both physical servers, not virtualized). It has been recommended that I use 10GB gear between AOS and SQL, but I am not entirely convinced. Is there any documentation or benchmarking that shows the performance differences between a 10GB connection and a 1GB connection between AOS/SQL?
