Move a company and historical sales data to new instance....

Hello,

I'm working on a AX 2012 R2 implementation and one requirement is to be able to move a company and it's historical sales/financial data to a new stand alone AX 2012 R2 instance quickly.  

The company I'm working for does a lot of acquiring and divesting of brands so a major requirement is to be able to quickly move a company to a new stand-alone instance.

Is this possible?  Master data and historical financial data is relatively simple, but what about inventory transactions (inventTrans) records.  Has anyone done something like this?   Any suggestions?
