Hi all, my first attempt at gettting AX help through this forum. We use AX in a manufacturing environment. We mistakenly, no one can pinpoint how, had all of our Production Orders "Released" all at once. It has obviously created an inventory nightmare for us.
It created output orders and caused parts on all of those BOM's to be reserved physical for production orders way out in the future. When shipping/receiving go to "pick" items to current job's going to be worked on it won't let them because they aren't available because of the physical reservation.
Our current workaround is very labor intensive, in cancelling picking and deleting output orders on the "mistakenly" released orders, which free's up the reservation on the individual parts. A global reset has been denied at this point for us. Just wondering if anyone had some input that might be a better way.
Can the Physical reservation be removed on the individual Part level, thus freeing it up to be picked.
Sorry for the confusing rambling question, just looking for any help at this point.
