Configurable item cost price

Hi all,

Just wondering, in AX 2012 if I have configurable item with dimension Size active, is it
during Configure Line, updating of Size's cost price could be automatically ?

I've created a costing version in that item, but it failed to update during
configuring because it is said no active cost price. Of course in my item cost
price there is no record yet for the said Size since it is new Size getting from
Product builder.

I have to create manualy the created Size in my costing version so during
configuration, Ax can update cost price.

Anyone can help?
