Hi all,
I'm trying to find someplace where I can view ALL of the transactions that have posted to my inventory general ledger accounts. Specifically, I'm trying to find someplace that will let me tie the item number and configuration, as well as the transaction type and/or voucher number, to the GL posting. On the general ledger side, the Ledger Transaction List doesn't give me nearly the detail I need. There doesn't seem to be any way to get the item number and configuration into the GL posting information. On the inventory side, I can view journals for adjustments and movements, but that isn't helping me with production orders or sales order shipments, and really none of them give me easy access to the GL accounts tied to a line.
I have the Excel add-in, but have yet to successfully pull any data with it. The VAR rep who set it up did, so the connection works, but navigating the tables and finding the data I need is proving impossible. But, that is an option if anyone can tell me how to pull the data I need with it.
All I want to be able to do is see for a given item/configuration, what transactions hit what GL accounts and for how much money in a given period of time.
It shouldn't be this hard. (This is becoming my mantra for AX)
