Performance Issue specific to some companies in AX

Hi All,

I was working on one performance issue, which is not faces in all companies. There is a batch process that inserts some hundred records to inventjournaltrans and some other tables when ran. The same batch takes varying time in each company (Eg C1 -15 min, C2 -2 min ) for inserting same number of records. what could be the possible issue??

I hope it is not code as the same code is used for all companies but performance issue is only in some companies. Could it be data issue or something else??

Does insertion of hundred records into a table with huge data take more time compared to insertion of hundred records into a table with moderate amount of data?

Need help in solving this issue. The version of AX is 4.0
