Hello experts,
I have searched through posts here and done lots of googling on this but can't seem to find any information. We have run into an issue where when we are attempting to pick one of our serial controlled items we receive an error stating "There are too many serial IDs already captured to process this work."
It seems to happen sporadically and only with a one certain item. The errors appears as soon as the selector attempts to scan the License Plate at the picking location.
I have compared these sales orders with other sales orders with the same item that were able to be picked and cannot find a difference, nor can I find a difference in how this item is setup compared to our other serial controlled items.
So far the only work around we have found is to:
-Delete the work
-Delete the shipments
-Delete the item off of the sales order
-Re-add the item to the sales order
-Re-drop the order.
Although this works, it is a time consuming process and I feel there must be a better way to resolve this issue.
