Actually I am stucked with one scenario, you can say it as unrealistic.
I am implementing MRP for manufacturing industry. Here now we have around 9 hundred thousand (900,000) products including Finished goods and raw materials.
I am running master planning for the first time, It has been 3 days MRP scheduling is still running :(
I know it will read all my inventory, but only few items is having transactions and On hand inventory. As we have just started using AX.
** I am running Scheduling for all item to consider on hand stock. Not item specific
Facts:
- Total products: 900,000
- Number of items - Demand(Sales order) : 150 Products ( 9 Sales order), Out of that only 2 product having Approved & ACTIVE BOM (1 Level BOM) .
- On hand products: 3000 Products

Master Plan:
Back end table is showing 130 Planned orders has created, but scheduling is still running. Whereas I tried running Explosion from Sales order line (It took 3 min approx.) and generated planed orders in Dynamic plan.
Why static sheduling is taking that much time... 3-4 Days is not acceptable as per me.
Please any suggestion is highly appreciated. I never tried MRP for such huge inventory.
