Add control to the Filter Pane

Hi,

I want to add a string control to filter pane in a list page and I want to filter records on typing in this control. I followed this How to: Add Controls to the Filter Pane. But I don't see properties FilterDataSource, FilterField and FilterExpression. Do I overlook something? 

I'm using AX 2012 R2 CU1.
