Office 2013 and AX2012 Compatibility

Can anyone please confirm the compatibility stance on Office 2013 and AX2012 - not R2.

Reading this post says it is compatible:

Reading this post says it is not compatible, only with AX2012 R2:

dynamics-ax.blogspot.no/.../microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-system.html

I'm thinking it is probably no problem to have AX2012 and Office 2013. The Office-Addin will work but only the features available for the RTM version. Whatever new was introduced in R2 will only work after upgrading to R2. I haven't tested this thoroughly, though. Perhaps someone else knows (for sure)?
