Debugging workflow escalation

Hi,

   I am trying to debug the code for workflow escalation but it seems like the minimum time we can run the escalation for the workflow step is 1 hour. So now when I need to debug escalation, I need to wait for 1 hour for the batch to hit that escalation code. Is there any better way to debug this than waiting for 1 hour?
