Build-in Cube and Olap Dimensions

Hi,

I'm trying to understand the difference between 3 dimensions.

For example in the Retail Cube, it has Retail Chanel, OLAPRETAILCHANEL and finally Ledger account OLAPRETAILCHANEL.

What is the difference between those dimensions and when we should use one or an other... ?
