We are implementing D365 in the next 9 months and have been told that WAX doesn't have any picking to production options more than a simple movement user led on RF devices. I just cant believe nobody else in the world isn't looking for a more refined solution.
The scenario is within a manufacturing site where there are 14 production lines, all in limited space that can only keep at most one pallet of each raw material to process line side. This means with little buffer stock line side the movement of stock is critical. Plus the instruction to move the stock has to first go to a VNA area and then to a forklift driver once the VNA movement is complete (two staged movement of each pallet).
What I am after is has anyone got any practical knowledge/application of a way to move stock like this in time for production using AX/D365? HELP!!! : )
