I have Windows 8.1 with hyper-V, and I use the standard Microsoft AX2012R2A hyper-v image. What I wanted to try, is to have a local AX 2012 client on my machine, that accesses the AOS on the hyper-V image. The domain on my machine is different than the domain in the Hyper-V(that is Contoso)
The installation of the AX 2012 R2 client went perfectly, and I have tried to use the "run as a different user" on the AX client to start the AX client. when after typing in the contoso domain, user and password, I get the following error: "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship."
I guess the reason is that there needs some trust relation ship between the Contoso domain, and the corporate domain I have on the machine. I don't expect that it will be possible/allowed for me to create a domain trust, since this is a local hyper-V machine running on my PC.
Does any have any tip on how to run the AX 2012 R2 client locally, using the contoso hyper-v located on the same machine ?
Thanks...Kurt
