I want to know how we can find out active user against each license type in existing ax system.Our client want to renew the license for that they want to understand the exact count Of user license type for existing users.
I ran the report available under sys admin->reports.there I came to know about actual and assigned license user.In that report assigned users are more than license key user count and i believe it consider all enable/ active users only.
I used sysuserlicense query as well but it doesn’t give me correct count as it consider same user for highest as well as lowest license type as well.
Should I recommend customer to consider the “license key user” count only from the report? Or is there any way to find out which user can be mapped against functional,enterprise,self serve,etc license type?
Also, I observed one thing is that, the std report consider the the users under license user type for e.g. enterprise user , even if only the custom roles are assigned to that user. So while renewing the license we should consider this user against the specific license type or not?
