We've recently upgraded from AX 2012 R1 to R2 and I can no longer right click SSRS reporting projects in the AOT and have then open in Visual Studio 2010 automatically. I get an error message in Visual Studio saying:
"One or more project in the solution were not loaded correctly. Please see the Output Window for details"
the output window says:
"C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\Microsoft Dynamics AX\Dynamics AX Model Projects\XXXX_PurchaseOrderReport\XXXX_PurchaseOrderReport.dynamicsproj : error : Unable to connect to the AOS specified in the Microsoft Dynamics AX Client Configuration. The configuration could be missing, invalid, or the AOS is not running. To connect to the AOS, check the network connection between the client and the AOS, verify that a valid configuration exists, and that the AOS service is running on the server."
I've checked the AX client configuration and it all looks OK. Also, if I open Visual Studio myself (as admin) I can browse the correct AOT fine in the Application Explorer which would lead me to believe the client configuration is OK? Or does this use a different config?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
