AX2012-I have created an Item (BOM type) and attahced a BOM to it. It has 3 components, 2 items and one item which is also of BOM type. I noticed that when I attached the BOM type item(sub-BOM) the Icon (ItemType) still is an Item. I approve and activate the BOM...I then click the BOM designer...in teh BOM designer, the sub BOM item could not be exploded anymore---and the icon attached to it is still an item( not a BOM).
