Hi !

I've created a dynamic dialog (RunBase) and the first control on it is a

"FileName" so the user can select a file.

After the user has selected the file I want to fill the next control (ComboBox)

with the file data.

Everything is working but the items in the combobox are not shown.

In the debugger I see that adding the items is working but it looks like

that the control or dialog needs some kind of refresh after I've added the items.

This is how I add the items:

       . . .

       formComboBoxControl.items(3);

       formComboBoxControl.item(1);

       formComboBoxControl.text("Item 1");

       . . .

Hi,

Whenever I try to run any report the system throws the below given error:

Error Message (09:50:24 am) No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8202

I had recently restored the databases (Ax, Model and Base Line) from another server and installed the AOS. The present server has only one instance of AOS, yet it is pointing to 8202 service endpoint port, instead of 8201. I have checked the port in server configuration and it is pointing to 8201. Where is the report execution fetching 8202 from lest there exists no other instance of AOS? I have refreshed the configuration services, checked inbound/ outbound ports, nowhere 8202 is mentioned.

How I have to affecte the initial capital by touching the individual customer credits for

example I want to change the finance's software , in the beggining i have to fix the initial saldo of accounts, account receivables balance sheet that names

more than 10,000€ and this amount i would want to distribute to each clients that has debts, for example

10 clients from 1.000€

How I can affected this capital accounts in AX, A/R and the indidual customers credits for each clientn

In AX 2012, we are able to complete Purchase Requisitions, complete the managerial approval, convert the requisition to a Purchase Order and to release the PO.  However, the original requester is not able to receive the items because they are not showing up in the Unconfirmed Product Receipts form.  I checked that the delivery date is equal to today's date.  Any suggestions on what to check?  Many thanks!

I need to understand how to payout Bonus from Payroll.

I am able to generate normal monthly and hourly salaries, and enable to process the Bonus in the variable plans but I am stuck when coming to disbursed BONUS.

I had set earning Code for Bonus both Gross Up and Automatic. I had also enrolled variable plan to my employee pertaining to the desired percentage performance bonus. The award is reflected. Now the difficult is what pay frequency I can use to have ONE OFF PAYMENT for BONUS associated to my pay statement? I tried Annual, Monthly, Weekly etc. but no results.

What went wrong?

Can anyone help me setup such as Earning Codes, pay frequencies in associating generating payroll?

Hi ..

 I am trying to follow and understand this, in particular this section ‘ Change permissions for customer responsibilities to View access’

 I am OK with steps 1 – 6, I have skipped 8 to go to 9 and 10

Having created a duplicate and removed the original on CaseSalesCaseMaintain and CaseDetailMainMaintain … the new permissions have not been applied as a warning suggests that not ‘Not all entry points have been updated to the selected permissions’.

 Question is then … Do I also need to duplicate and remove the original for the following before applying the new permissions:

 CustCustomerMasterInquireWithoutTaxView > CustTableView

 And

 smmBusinessRelationsMaintain > smmBusRelTableMaintain

 Step 6 suggests that the three duties must also be investigated (Investigated, or duplicated / removed?) ..

 CaseSalesCasesMaintain (Done that, see step 10) .. CustCustomerMasterInquire .. smmBusinessRelationsMaintain

 Step 6 doesn’t suggest to investigate CaseDetailMainMaintain, however, step 10 does imply that you should duplicate  / remove the original before applying any new permissions (which I have done) ..

 It’s not 100% clear hence why the posted question ..

I would probably say that I need to duplicate / remove all entry points where smmResponsibilities is referred, but just asking for clarification.

For a customer we need on the ProjInvoice report the tax amount on line level,

but this amount is not filled in on ProjProposalEmple or ProjInvoice Emple.

But we have seen on the taxTrans table the records are there. but we are not able to find the relation between ProjInvoiceEmple  and TaxTrans, because they all have the same voucher. please suggestion

Hi Experts,

I have an issue with Ax 2012 Purchase Order list page form in our test environment. It showing only a particular supplier's orders instead on entire order list in the list page. In the table level, we have entire purchase data for all suppliers and that to the latest db backup of production. I don't know why this is happening now even I have restarted the service and cleared my usage data.

Please share your valuable ideas if any to solve this or you done before.

I have installed sql 20012, sharepoint server 2010 and ax 2012 r2. following steps i have taken before installation

1. Installed Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

2. Installed Office 2010 64 Bit

3. Created Domain contoso.com

4. set the password pass@word1 for domain

5. installed pre-requisites of sharepoint server

6. installed sharepoint

7. installed sql 2012 server

8. created databse MicrosoftDynamicsAX

9. Created database MicrosoftDynamicsAX_Model

10. restored the demo databases

11. run the setup of ax2012r2

12. selected database, aos, debug tools, office adons, management tools

13 validated and there was no error and then continued the installation

14. Installation completed without any error

after installation when i tried to logon in the ax2012r2 i had the error "failed to logon on ax2012". is anybody have idea where is the problem?

We have a client who has a 154gig database and 1 AOS in a three tier environment.

For some reason, when posting payment journals it can take up to 6 minutes, even if the journal only has one or two lines.

I have used SQL Profiler and Client side tracing and cannot isolate the cause but can verify the duration.

After a fresh restart of the AOS and SQL Server usually the first posting of the morning works fine, but as the day progresses the posting are consistently 5-6 minutes long.  I isolated the query against LedgerJournalTrans (332427), LedgerJournalTrans_Asset (101742), and AssetBook (1097).  The query looks very well optimized.

We had a similar problem running the Sales open lines report by Items, where the report was grinding to a halt using the InventSum::findSum method, but we bypassed that problem by creating a new query.  Which took a report that was running 20 minutes to an hour, down to 20 seconds.

All other reports, and picklist postings, etc seem to run fine.

The client has an average of 33 concurrent users.

SQL Server 2008 R2 is using max memory at 99% and the AOS is usually consuming about 1gig of ram out of 8.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I,m working in a test environment with Dynamics AX 2009, WIN 2008 Server, SQL Server 2008 and Project Server 2007.

After install all components both Dynamics AX and Project Server, the system give me an error "GeneralItemDoesNotExist" when tried to synchronize the AX Project into Project Server 2007

Hello, being new to reporting in ax 2012, and new to AX in general, I was wondering if anyone had a possible solution as to how we could display the user entered range values from an AX Query Dynamic parameter in an SSRS report.  For example, if there was a predifined range on the query using CustPackingSlipJour on the DeliveryDate field, I want to display in the report that the results are for Delivery Date between A and B, or if they choose to filter certain ItemID's from the inventTable, I would like the user to be able to print that on the report.  Any help would be great, Thanks!

When drilling down to the account level in MR reports, financial-dimension values are displayed in alpha order of dimension name rathen than the order defined in the account structure.

Is there a way to fix this?

Example  :  

     Account structure = Department-Allocation- Main account-Project-Cost Center

    Values : 111-2222-33333-44-55555

In MR, the account is displayed in the follwing order :

      Allocation-Cost-Center-Departement-Main account-Project

    Values : 2222-55555-111-33333-44

Users can't make sense of this info.

I've create Query then develope report that using this query then I created Menu Item for the report, but the issue is when I'm running the report from the menu item the criteria fields are locked, why? Am I missing something here?
