Reporting Services extensions AX 2012 R2
Please help solve the problem with installation Reporting Services extensions. There are two servers Windovs Server 2012. On the first server running SQL Server 2012 SP1 CU4 with installed Reporting and Analysis Services. On the second server installed AOS and client AX 2012 R2 CU6. Vendor/customer export
Happy Friday all!
This should be simple but who knows. I need to export vendor and customer addresses to a file (e.g., Excel). Was hoping there'd be a canned report in tabular format but that turned out to be wishful thinking. Anyone have any suggestions? Please bear in mind I'm new to AX 2012 so please dumb down your responses :P

AIF End Point
Hi,
I am using AX 2009 and I have batch job which calls AIF out bound service and generate files for my partner. Now I have two batch jobs scheduled different intervals.
Batch jobs uses Itemservice, which will send all modified item information in last 30 /60 minutes.
( for example partner1 - every 1 hr., Partner 2 - every 30 seconds ) .
At this point no BizTalk or any other Ftp software
is this possible through configuring AIF to drop the files different intervals. For me it looks like not possible.
I am planning to have two different service for this.
Please advise or suggest me best solution

Using the VendVendInvoiceService to import vendor invoices, including stocked items
Hello,
I've setup the VendVendInvoiceService to accept vendor invoices through the AIF via XML. This seems to work well for any product that is non-stocked. Is there any way to set up the service to accept vendor invoices for stocked items?
I believe that when dealing with stocked items on an invoice, I'll need to match the lines/items to lines/items on an existing Purchase Order, but I can't seem to get them to match up. I've altered the AxdVendInvoice query to add the OrigPurchId, LineNum, and PurchaseLineLineNumber fields and have gotten them onto the xml schema. But when I go to import through the AIF, I get the following exceptions: "Item 10003 on invoice 12345 line is different from purchase order line item ." (there is an extra space between "...invoice line " and "is different from..." and at the end of the sentence before the period. That makes me think it is trying to match to an existing PO, but it doesn't seem to be reading or processing the data I supply on the XML.
Does anyone have any experience using this service to import vendor invoices for stocked items? Is it possible? Any ideas?

EP and Role Center on the new AX 2012 R2 Version 2 demo image
I have installed the new demo image on VirtualBox.
The image now runs with Windows Server 2012 and the usual trick (dynamicsnavax.blogspot.dk/.../how-to-run-ax2012-hyperv-on-virtualbox.html) for getting EP and Role Centers to work with this setup doesn't work.
Does anyone have any idea what settings I need to change to have EP and Role Centers working when the image runs on VirtualBox?

AX 2012 R2 Retail POS - manual credit card entry using pay card action?
Hello,
We want to add a "manual credit card payment" button as a payment option on the retail POS. We are using a 3rd party payment processor so we can modify the EFT service using the Retail SDK.
I cannot set the action of the button to "Pay Card" as this will follow the current process of paying using a credit card. I am not familiar with how the process gets to the EFT service so i can re-use functionality.
Any advice on how to get by this hump is greatly appreciated.

How do you find a history of trade agreement price changes
Hi all, I am brand new to Dynamics AX and the community. I have been using a training module of AX to learn how to create and modify trade agreements for purchasing. I have found some very useful information on the forum, but here is my specific question:
After I post changes to the price of a product in a trade agreement, when I look at the purchase price for the product in the Product Information Management page, it just shows the latest price that I just added. If the trade agreement price is changed every month, then how can I look at the history of the prices at some later date?
On a possibly related note, when entering a new journal, is it helpful to make the description very specific, i.e., Item GR0002 General Electric 8-23-2013; or is it ok to leave it rather vague, i.e., GE price update? In other words, are the descriptions ever useful?

Inventory Agining in Dynamics AX 2009
Can anyone offer any insight into Inventory Aging reports for Dynamics AX 2009?
The standard reports don't seem to give what you might expect for inventory aging requirements e.g serial / batch number (if appropriate), FIFO, quantity, value, within one report.
Inventory by item group aging report, is only of limited value in this instance as it displays inventory value / levels within a given period, but no batch / serial option
I would be interested to hear of any suggested customisation / workaround done in this area?

Error in Code Up Gradation From AX 2009 To AX 2012 R2
Hi, My self Gulshan, and i am facing a problem in code up gradation (code up grade) checklist. In this checklist, when i click on "Import AOD files in baseline model store" option then one combo box come on the screen, Now first problem is - In this combo box USR layer is not present, while i am customizing in USR layer in AX 2009, and the Second Problem is - When i Add USR layer manually (by add one line in the code) then it is asking for AXISV.AOD file, and i dont have this file. So if you can hel me out from this problem then please revert me back on "Gulshan22041988@hotmail.com". Please Reply as soon as possible.

I have some additional questions coming from my customer and concerning SDD payment:
- Does AX 2012 R2 manage possible change of the debtor's bank account (with amendment tag) ?
- Does AX 2012 R2 can reconcile direct debit payment and bank feedback status (PSR/CAMT tag) ?
Does anyone have an experience with this subject?

Customer invoice address not showing up in report
Hi,
I have a customer, and I have setup a invoice account against that customer.
Also, the invoice address field is set to invoice account.
However, if I post any SO, the invoice address is the same as that of delivery address. Its not fetching the invoice address from the invoice account I have added.
Both the order account and invoice account have relevant addresses setup.

Flushing of tables after upgrading AX2009 kernel to 5.0.1600.755
Hi
After upgrading our Ax kernel from 5.0.1500.4570 to 5.0.1600.755 we are seing many events in the server application eventlogs:
Failed to flush EntireTable cache. Exception value = 11_ Retry count = 6 "
A single aos instance might report this between 0-4 times each day. Our server architechure is 4 w2008 servers with 4 aos-instances on each windows server.
Is this a problem arising with the new kernel or is it just a matter of the kernel "logging better" than previous kernel ?
When inspecting our tables we see that we have several tables with property "cachelookup=entire table" and where the amount of records are higher than>2000.
Will this error-logging go away if we change the concerned tables (with more than 2000 records) or is this a new error where the kernel really is having problem with flushing the table cache?
