I was created Blank Operation in POS  to connect to Payment Terminal Device for payment by card.

The device returned xml to POS with status( approved /rejected) and some info of the payment transaction.

I have to to close the POS transaction from my Blank Operation for approved transaction.

what is the suitable payment operation ( paycard , paycash,.....) to close the POS transaction with payment card information and how ?

can i call PayCard operation from my Blank Operation and close the transaction ?

We are using Dynamix AX for financial and HR functionalities, among which is our employee database.  We would like to create an Org Chart from the existing employee database in Dynamics, and preferably have it linked to the database so that the Org Chart updates when the database is updated.

We are using SharePoint for application interfacing, which is reading from the Dynamics database.

Is there an Org Chart functionality within Dynamics (or SharePoint) which can be used for this purpose?  Or is there a SharePoint add-in which you can recommend which will enable us to create an Org Chart which reads from the Dynamics employee database?

We set up a new dimension years ago but we still have to currently allow blanks on the account structure for the Balance Sheet to allow for balances rolled over from previous periods.  Do I need to do a general journal to remove the blank and enter a dimension value for each main account where there is a balance before we do the YE rollover? I know there is a dimension option somewhere on the rollover criteria, but I don't want to replace any dimensions that are there on transactions already, just fill in the blanks.

any suggestions please?

I have my Forms "Rentals" and "PriceTable".

In my Form "Rentals" I can choose the: "Vehicle Typ" , "Categorie" and "Model".

You see my Form "Price Table".
You see also in the Picture I send you, that I can choose the models.

But I want my models to be filtered by the "Vehicle Typ"  and "Categorie".

So When I choose "Car" and "Compact" that I can only take "C-220 d" - "Mercedes" as Option.

How is this possible ?

Subject: Quarantine order required for the failed items only

We are facing one issue while validating the quality order. We have created one production order(for 10 items) and at the time of report as finished(RAF) the system has generated the quality order(for 10 items). Once the quality order has been generated, user entered the Pass quantity(8) and failed quantity(2). After this, business user validated the quality order and system has automatically generated the quarantine order for the entire batch (complete 10 quantity).

Here, business user is  expecting that only the failed quantity(2) with serial number items should go to quarantine warehouse. However, the system is transferring the entire batch quantity 10 to the quarantine order. Each serial number item have its own quarantine order.

Questions

• Can we generate the quarantine order only for the failed quantity?
• Can we club the multiple serial controlled items and generate one quarantine order for 2 items (both items are serial controlled)?
• Do we have any workaround solution from the standard system?
• What if we customize the above solution, what will be the risk factor and impact of this development?

I am trying to install AX2012 CU12 on a Windows Server 2016 w. SQL 2016. This is all installed on one server for testing. I have only installed the databases and trying to install the AOS. The installation goes fine and I cannot see any errors in the Setup log file, but I am unable to start the AOS. I get the following 2 errors:

Object Server 01 : The directory "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\Bin\Application\bin" does not exist or access to it has been denied by the operating system.

Object Server 01 : The home directory for Axapta (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\Bin\Application\bin\Application") does not match the required structure or can  not be accessed.

If I look in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\Bin\Application I can see that the "\bin", "\share\config", "appl\Standard", "\appl\Standard\db" and "appl\Standard\tmp" is missing. If I create these folders the AOS can start and is working. But why cant it do this during installation?

In Live environment Of Retail project I am facing issue of Inventory Lookup and customer Update and Creation error in POS.

I am using Ax 2012 R3 CU8.

I tried all possible Resolution of Real Time Service error and Did all steps many times to resolve Inventory lookup and customer update.

1) For inventory lookup error- I entered Correct SSL certificate in Trust Root Certificate Authority In Server, POs systems.

2) I Changed Passphrase and TCP Binding to Https binding and vice versa and changed user login details, Common name and Subject Name for Certificate in RTS profile.

3) Changed WebConfig file and other trouble shooting suggested by Blogs.

4) Given Service user to Bussiness Connector Role in Ax user list along system administrator role to user Id.

5) Even in .net connector Given Business Connector AOS profile but still I am getting same error message at every time.

6) I also assigned Inventory Locator Group in Ax.

 Only Retail is working with SEPRATE Partition of AX as another Company in Live environment.

Any one can help me and I am ready to share my Screen for Resolution of REAL TIME Service Inventory lookup. I am getting error and its very Urgent as its live System so users they required Inventory Lookup every time.

 I am getting below error

I am trying to put a regular range of main accounts on the filter for an advanced rule, eg. 11100..11155 but this doesn't seem to work.  Neither can I enter them separately in the filter, it appears as 'where main account is...' and then only AND on the next line rather than OR.  Do I really need to create a separate advanced rule for each main account even though they would be all pointed to the same advanced rule structure?

I have an equipment serialized and I want to change the cost. What i did is an inventory adjustment to get it out of the inventory at 1000$ and another inventory adjustment to bring it back in the inventory at 500$. The problem I have is that each time i do a transaction on this item (Inventory Transfer) it move the item at 1000$ and after an inventory recalculation it create an adjustment of 500$. Why the cost is still 1000$ each time I do a transaction?

Hello.  So I am trying to create a new reporting tree that only reports for a specific department codes (for my financial dimension)  I am trying to create multiple reporting trees that use the same row formats so we don't have to keep changing multiple report formats whenever there is a new account added.

my question is, if we have one row definition as a main format and this row format has some specific financial dimensions that are including specific rows for financial dimensions (including multiple department financial dimensions) does this override the set tree financial dimension?  So if i have a tree set up to pull Department - [ACCT] financial dimension for the accounting department but then in my row format i have a report that is including different departments as well in my Link to financial dimensions, does the row link to financial dimensions override the reporting tree definition to only pull the specific accounting department?

i ask this because i am hoping that i can take my base report and not change the formatting, but in the row definition, the rows in which i have specific departments in the financial dimension is still pulling in the data for those financial dimensions even if my tree is set to only pull the accounting department.  

Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated.
