We have created a sales invoice and set the VAT as 0% - However, there is still a breakdown on the invoice showing with VAT on it. how can we set the breakdown on the invoice to reflect Zero, and also make the change so the report also works?

We are implementing the invoice proposals in Project 'Management and Accounting' in AX 2012. We would like to edit the form by adding and removing fields and also adding a company logo.
We have found several forms in the AOT -- 'Visual Studio Projects', however, editing those did not reflect in the actual invoice proposal.
Does anyone have an idea how to achieve this?

I have install AX2012 R2 and Visual Studio 2010 on my server
but when i install the Visual Studio Tool on AX12 Component, the Prerequisites still need Visual Studio ??
why this is happen? ... Visual Studio 2010 not support with AX2012 R2?? ...

I tried importing address and relate it to customer but it doesn't show after opening customer detail form.I followed by importing a record in following table.

When I open AOT I see the record in tables but customer form doesn't show the address.If I add manually through AX client it works fine.

How do I go about porting my AX12 database - currently its a .bak file - that I plan to restore within the new AX12R2 environment.
Is there a tool within the AX12R2 setup to perform this task - or should I just point AX12R2 configuration to the restored database?

I wrote a job in AX for writing a text file with fixed field width. I need to read the file using the other application. Seems the text file is binary. I assume because of this the other application is not able to read. Below is the piece of code I wrote:

I am trying to integrate CRM 2011 to Dynamics Ax 2012 using dynamics connector , the configuration everything completed and its working fine for all entities expect account.
when i click on the submit button in CRM to submit the data to Ax 2012 , its giving an error "You must supply a valid, non-empty value for the Account Number if you are integrating this account with a Microsoft Dynamics ERP product."
I have checked and the account number field is filled in CRM and correctly mapped in the connector configuration.
it would be a great help if you can guide me to resolve the issue !

I have set up an Inbound Dock location and set it as a default receipt location. The intent is that this is a temporary storage location until the items can be put away. Then a transfer journal would be created to move it to it's permanent location. Everything works well unless the item is required and a reservation is put against the item in the dock location. Becuase there's a reservation we ca't transfer the item to another location and the part shows in an ambiguous "dock" location.
My question is ... is there a way to block a location from having a reservation against it? We want reservations turned on in general, we just don't want the item being reserved before it's been put away.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I make test transaction then I user SysDatabaseTransDelete to delete all transaction ,
all transactions deleted in AP AR INV , but when i back to check the account is still the balance with effected, Now I need to delete account Debit credit ending balance, to go live with live data .

I'm trying to find the location of where the Counting Journals go once posted and the Profit & Loss Journals.
At the moment we are doing a annual stock take and the sales department are doing this with the Profit & Loss and Counting Journals I wanna see if these two journals are being posted to the same place.
how i can add description field in the printing of the check payment.
