Hi,

 I need advice in setting up currency wise rounding off that appears in transactions as well as posted records.

 For example: There are currencies that are transacted and maintained in 3 places of decimal. Other currencies are as follows:

BHD	048	3	Bahraini dinar	Bahrain
JOD	400	3	Jordanian dinar	Jordan
KWD	414	3	Kuwaiti dinar	Kuwait
LYD	434	3	Libyan dinar	Libya
OMR	512	3	Omani rial	Oman
TND	788	3	Tunisian dinar	Tunisia

 

I checked the Rounding off setting at Exchange Rate Master but it does not allow to enter 3 places of decimal in the General Round off field. Is there a way to enter transactions and post in 3 places of decimal.

Hi,

i am using email template and tried to open the ax form link form email notification,

i have used the below HTML code to link the business data,

<A href="Dynamics://%LinkToBusinessData%">Go to &nbsp; %for%</A>

but it is not opening the ax form instead showing the empty form as belw,

 

Can any one help on this issue please.

while using DMF, following error appears

The version of Microsoft Excel is not supported.-The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

following is the version information:

AX VERSION: AX 2012-CU7 (6.2.1000.4051)

EXCEL VERSION: Microsoft office professional plus 2010 (32 bit)

Possibly it seems that office 32 bit is a problem, on a 64 bit machine.

any ideas/solutions/suggestions for above error

Hi,

We need to get the image from the product page to display it on a webpage. We have been able to get product information, but it seems to be harder to get the image from the product page.

How can we be able to get the image, either encoded file or URL?

This is the image we want to get from the product page in AX2012R2CU7:

We are using the standard catalog.

Hello,

Somehow one of our PO's managed to get 100% invoiced while not all of the value has been received/invoiced. The PO was supposed to be done using the Prepayment method, but it was not for the first invoice fully invoiced the PO, followed by a second invoice that was done to the vendor. Right now, we are trying to figure out what the best approach is in order to allow edits and invoicing to this PO in order to proceed with this issue.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

After some months working without problems with AIF I have the following problem. We have to AOS Servers. From the main AOS Server the AIF stopped working and our inbound ports doesnt even read the files and the outbound ports also doesnt work.

From our second AOS Server (different physical machine) I can process the inbound and outbound messages without problems. The account in which both servers run is the same and I have tried to regenerate WCF on the client configuration of the problematic AOS.

This is the exceptions I get in this server:

Can somebody show me how to import Categories from File?

I've read this and it says I should use the CatImpService. I believe the CatImpService is for Vendor Catalog and the schema of it doesn't match my needed schema. I believe the schema should consists of Name, Code, Description, FriendlyName and other fields seen in Category Hierarchy.

I have 2 resources that have capability to produce cake:-

- oven A capacity 100 cake/hr

- oven B capacity 200 cake/hr

I have a production order to produce 2400 cakes.

In the route config, I assign:-

- Setup Formula: Capacity

- Resource Quantity: 2

- Required: Capability: Produce Cake

- Factor: 1

- Run Time: 1

- Process Qty: 1

The best expected result would be:-

- oven A: 8hr (100 cake/hr * 8hr =    800 cake)

- oven B: 8hr (200 cake/hr * 8hr = 1,600 cake)

However, the current result is:-

formula: 1 / (individual  resource capacity) *  produced quantity

- oven A: (1 / 100 cake/hr) * 2,400 cake = 24 hr

- oven B: (1 / 200 cake/hr) * 2,400 cake = 12 hr

Is there anyway I can get the best result?

HI,

I want to give a single line discount on a sales quotation in Dynamics AX 2012 R2

However I get 2 Infologs; One that says negative quantities are not allowed, and the other says the Net Amount and the Quantity must be the same sign. These 2 rules prevent me from adding a discount line to a quotation.

discounts vary per customer or quote, and are normally a single line absolute value

Can you help discribe what I need to do to achieve this please ?

My ideal solution would be to add a line to the quote and just free-type a discount amount.

Hi,

In my travel and expense module, the invoices generate just fine but post to the employee's vendor account as one invoice per expense line?  I would prefer one invoice per expense report with the GL detail split out into separate offsets.  Is anyone aware of a way to configure the system in this way?

Hi All,

I have just deployed AX2012 for one of our customers and am having some issues with SSRS. I have more than a handful of users with no issue accessing SSRS report via the AX 2012 client and others getting an error in an infolog windows suggesting 'Failed to logon to Microsoft Dynamics AX.'. All users 'Domain Users' group has been added to the SSRS server under the AXBrowser role created by the install. The users that work have the same AD security as the users that don't so I'm doubting that's the issue. I have tested running the reports as the BC proxy account whihc is also the service account running the SSRS server. I have turned of UAC on both the server and client to insure that's not it. On the server we are seeing a few errors in the event log which I have pasted below. The SSRS server is running SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 CU2 but we have also tested SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 without a CU. All servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 + All windows updates after that. The version of AX is 2012 CU1 and has been applied to the AOS/DB/etc.. Has anyone else had this issue and can offer any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

In AX2012R2, General Ledger \ Common \ Trial Balance \ Parameters

The last option says "Budget Model" and the help text states: "Select the budget model to display budget amounts".

However when I select different Budget Models it doesn't seem to be affecting my Trial Balance. Does anyone how this functionality works?

Hi all I do have a Problem. I want to add reject reasons on the AbsenceRequests (HCMAbsenceRequestApprovalList)when they are rejected by an approver. What is the easiest way to do this? We are looking to hear from anyone who is using Product Configurator in R2.  We are moving towards using Product Configurator and are curious what have you found to be the biggest challenges or pain points.
