Ax 2009 Upgrade to 2012 R2
Hi All,
Upgrading 2009 to 2012 R2 and currently on the step Import AOD files into the baseline model store on target system. Imported Sys and Syp but from GLS on its layer shwoing file not found. i dont have the aod corresponding to those layer in 2009 app folder. please help.

AOS Load
Hi Everyone,
I am somewhat new to the administration tools that AX has to offer. We are a running AX 2012 R1 CU3 on a single AOS instance. Is there a way to determine the load that is being put on that AOS? We are getting the occasional random crash, and my hunch is that the AOS is simply getting too much load put on it. I would like to be able to prove it.

WebServices XML - any walkthroughs?
Hello
I have a fresher AX in the office, he need to master XML and how WebServices affect the system.
His work is to create a connections with public authorities who use XML Scemas to communicate, the services should of course be able to send and receive informations direct through AX.
Of course he know how to develop classes and what XML is about in general. But is some good blogs, videos or some walktrough information available who make the things easier to understand and connect AX with XML on a understandable way .)

Remote Desktop Installation on AX2012R2A-v4 (Contoso Demo VHD)

We are two people here at the office, and we have limited hardware resources. So can we set up RemoteDesktop Role on the demo computer and create our own usernames with relevant user rights without any affect on the server?
Obviously we want to use this one server at the same time.

Kanban picklist to AIF?

I have a situation where I need to export the Pick list for a kanban process job.
Are there any document services available that I can use to catch the pick list when it's sent to the printer/print archive?
Is there any other way that I can send the pick list to the AIF?

Ax2009 : Credit Limit in Customer Balance does not equal actual set Credit limit
Hi All,
Came across a case whereby the Customer's Credit limit set in the Customer form -> General tab did not equal the ' Credit Limit' value on the Customer balance form.
Tried testing by entering 100,000 for an existing customer with no balance. Then did one sales Invoice of 5000. Checked the Customer balance but the Credit limit is still 0. In the previous case, there was a difference of a few thousand between Credit limits of the forms.
Anyway to check the formula that the Customer balance form calculates the Credit limit ? Right click -> Setup does not reveal the field info.
Please advice.

smmActivities.validateDelete() very slow
Hi,
My call to smmActivities.validateDelete() is very slow, taking anything between 7 and 14 minutes to complete.
It seems that the cuplrit is the SalesLine delete action, because when I remove that delete action the call finishes instantly.
I sync-ed and reindexed both smmActivities and SalesLine and still didn't help.
Any other ideas?

Management Reporter CU9 - Integration company to company error.
Has anyone seen this in the data mart integration logs?
Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Getting only this error on the company to company integration. I am hoping there is something I can do in SQL to cleanup?

Depreciation
Hi All ,
We have almost 44 FA groups and 4800 individual assets , need to calculate the depreciation on monthly basis for Current layer and Tax layer for all 2800 Assets.
I would like to know the what is best to do depreciation for all assets in Ax 2012 R2 ?
Could you all share your ideas or thoughts how do you follow in your implementation ?

ax2012R2 - IIS on different host from AOS – target principal name is incorrect
Hi,
I have this situation :
Domain : OurDomain
AOS : AOSHost
IIS : IISHost
The AOS is running on AOSHost under the account "OurDomain\AOSAccount"
The Business connector account under which the MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif60 application pool is running is "OurDomain\BusConnAccount"
I installed the "Web Services on IIS" and the ".NET Business Connector" components on IISHost. Actually I tried two scenarios, with the same result: only the "Web Services on IIS" component, or both the "Web Services on IIS" and the ".NET Business Connector" components. During install I gave the "OurDomain\BusConnAccount" when the wizard asked, and also gave the "OurDomain\AOSAccount" name (but no password for this one, the wizard doesn’t ask). This host represents a IIS machine in a DMZ, although I have no firewalls yet. I’m taking it one step at a time.
By enabling anonymous authentication on my test inbound port and in my IIS web site, my test C# program is able to retrieve the service references from the IIS Host. But then, when my test program tries to actually hit the web service, AX throws a "A call to SSPI failed, see Inner Exception" error. Further digging shows that the inner exception is "Target principal name is incorrect".
In the IISHost Event viewer I see "The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server. The target name used was host/aoshost. This indicates…".
So I tried setspn.exe commands
setspn –s http/iishost ourdomain\aosaccount
setspn –s http/iishost.ourdomain ourdomain\aosaccount
setspn –s host/aoshost ourdomain\aosaccount
setspn –s host/aoshost.ourdomain ourdomain\aosaccount
For a while this fixed the problem. I mean I could hit the web services hosted on IISHost, and it was the information from the AOS on AOSHost. Everything was good until my AOS service wouldn’t start anymore. I got a 1069 error, "The service did not start due to a logon failure". I tried to reboot the AOSHost, and after reboot couldn’t logon to it with any domain account anymore. "The Security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship." Removed the above setspn commands, and could logon the AOSHost just fine afterwards.
Now I’m back to the "Target principal name is incorrect" error.
What I’m trying to do is simple : get the IIS running on a remote host. Can anyone help me please?

My environment showing lable ids instead of description/Name of that lable
Hi,
I Installed AX 2012 Client , it shows label id's only , like @SYS12823 .
To solve this i tried following :
- Deleted the .ali , .alt and .ald files and also deleted the AUC files .
- Restarted ax services
- imported label file for " en-us" language from working environment to my environment .
- flushed label for en-us.
- Populated DIRdata
Nothing works !
Please Help me out of this issue

Retail 2012 missing labels
Hi all
I have a fresh installation for AX 2012 R2 and updated it with CU7,
then after a while installed retail components and then updated it with CU7.
The problem is:
After i initialized the retail and tried for example to make a pos layout, some labels appear to be missing (@RetXXX)
Anyone know how to solve this.

Journal amount
Hi All ,
When ever we do the foreign currency transactions in the Payment journals / Invoice journal system would post the journal amount in local currency to voucher transactions, but that amoount is not rounding to nearest value.
For example : Customer currency @USD in Customer master , User created customer payment journal in USD currency , credit amount - 1577.28@61.87 -Ax calculates the amount 97586.31 as company currency.
But client says that amount 97586.31 should round to 97586.00 in Payment journal and post to Voucher transaction table.
Same way customer can receive the payment in other currencies also ( AUD, CAD,...)
Can i know how to achieve the above requirement in Ax ? and
