Sales posting stopping operations in stores

Dear Fellows,

We are using Ax 2012 R2 CU7. When we post sales the stores system cannot accept receiving items from suppliers until statement fully posted. this is interrupting our operations especially we have around 50 stores. the statement posting takes 20 - 30 minutes. if we would stop the stores from operating during statement posting that would mean around 16 hours a day.

Any ideas about a resolution?
