I have attached a calendar to a employee with the following working times for each day:
08:30 till 1200
1230 till 1700
This is 8 hours in total.
The resource availability screen is actually telling me that the resource has only 7 hours remaining capacity. Since I haven't booked anything on this new resource this is very strange. It seem like the calculation in rounding down the remaining capacity in a very strange way:
08:30 till 1200 = rounded down 3 hours
1230 till 1700 = rounded down 4 hours
in total 7.
Needles to say that this is wrong
If I change the working times to 0800 till 1200 and 1300 till 1700 than it calculates again to 8 hours. That is the work around, but not one i can explain to the endcustomer. I hope you agree with me that this is a problem.
