I want to setup delete log for sales table. I have finished the wizard. But Record is not saving to Data base log setup table (DatabaseLog). I checked for some other tables, but no one getting saved. But we have enabled log for locations table previously without issue. please help on this. thanks

I'd like to create a button on the POS so that, when it is clicked it shows the customer's account balance.
I have customers that pay with their account and sometimes they would like to know the money they have on their account. Instead of going all the way into AX Client and looking up the customer I'd prefer a button on the POS where the cashier will just click it and the balances will show.
Please assist.

is it possible to create an inventory movement work that moves multiple items to a location? If i create movements via AX-Form (Location->Create inventory movement work) there will be created one work per item.
I just need to know if this a case i have to deal with too.

I have generated a workflow with multiple approvals in Procurement and Sourcing.When i generate a PR and submit it, the workflow gets activated but the PR does not go to the approver for approval.First the PR goes for approval and then the condition is set to check whether it is above particular value so that it goes to the other approver.Can somebody help me in this.

I am wondering if there is anything else I need to do as things don't seemed to be hanging together in Co B - techi term :)

My company have upgraded from AX4 to AX 2012 R2.
From time to time various posting errors occur relating to CANNOT CREATE A RECORD IN TRANSACTION LOG THE RECORD ALREADY EXISTS.
Basically, I am wondering is it ok to delete everything from this table and have a clean slate as we really don't use or need the data from a business viewpoint, I am more concerned if the system uses this data for any update function.
The situation is:
- we have AX4 in single user mode ready for data upgrade.
- We have our final application of AX 2012 R3 with CU8 applied.
Now, what we need to do is create a new instance of our 2012 final app with a blank database, so we can do the data upgrade.
What's the correct way of doing this? What I tried was:
- Create a new database with AX setup. (This creates MyNewDataBase and MyNewDataBase_model)
- I restored a copy of MyFinalDatabase_model into MyNewDataBase_model.
- I started the AOS and started the data upgrade cockpit.
However, I'm getting errors in the upgrade scripts cockpit like "method ... does not exist in class ReleaseUpgradeDB60_..."
Any ideas on how to fix this?
We are using Dynamics AX 2009 for the past 3 years . We are planning for an upgrade, but confused whether to upgrade to AX 2012 R3 now, or wait for another year and upgrade to AX '7'.

Hi All,
I have a Menu in Dynamics AX 2012 and set up its Label 'ABCD' from Properties pane in AOT. I have also set up its reference inside MainMenu.
Now what I want, is to change this Label value programmatically (i.e. from X++ code) if a particular condition is true. That is I want to make the Label of that Menu change to 'XYZ' (if some p > q).
Is it possible programmatically? And if yes, plz suggest a way.

I create new batch in modul System administration --> Inquiries --> Batch jobs.
I want create batch job for generate report Named User License Counts.
Then, i click View Tasks.
In here, i create new task.
Then, i select Class name for generate report user license count using SysUserLicenseMiner class.
But, i get Error.
Why class SysUserLicenseCount not valid and nothing in the lookup.
Please help me.. I want create batch Job for generate report Named User License Count in modul System administration --> Reports --> Named User License Counts
