hi, we are on AX 2012 R2 and CU7
On the Sql side we are on Sql server 2008 R2 SP2. As part of installing Reporting Services Extensions, the validation fails with this error:
If you are installing on MS Sql Server 2008 R2, CU3 or higher is required
as per this article - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh285826.aspx i went ahead and installed the latest CU 13 for Sql Server 2008 R2. But still the validation error is not going away.

Hi, we are on AX 2012 R2 with CU7. when i try to run the Report "Top Vendors by YTD purchases" i get this error:
Query (12, 2) The dimension '[Transaction date - fiscal calendar]' was not found in the cube when the string, [Transaction date - fiscal calendar].[Year].[All], was parsed.
i am very new to SSAS, any help here would be great.

I have installed an AX 2012 R3 (Database, AOS and Client). Restarting the server it triggers two error events in the event log:
Object Server 01: RPC error: Failed to unregister service principal name (SPN): 'XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX/AOS.domain.local:2712'

I have had an AX 2012 R2 running, which I first uninstalled. I reused the domain account for the aos service.
I have completed the checklist and AX i working, but I like to have a clean eventlog.
When I transfer a project quotation to a project and in the quotation rules there are Non-stock items they dont show up in the "item forecast" under "plan". The non-stock items do show in the item requirements under "plan". However it doesn't transfer the costprice price for these non-stock items.
Is this a bug or are we missing some parameters?
Hi, I have set an item "A" with unit sequence group "Ea Box20". 1 Box20 is for 20 ea. Assume we have 3 locations, A1 = 99 ea, A2 = 100 ea, A3 = 100 ea. Now I have a sales order for item "A" with 2 lines with different delivery schedule. Line 1, "A" is gonna be sold for 200 ea on 1-Mar-2015, and line 2, "A" is gonna be sold for 60 ea on 1-Apr-2015. Then I reserve those 2 lines together because of special request. When we release that sales order, AX will raise an error "[item]: XX cannot be reserved because only XX are available in the inventory."
Is something wrong with my setup or it's a bug? Can someone help me?

Shipping goods in a Intercompany scenario, where goods are on the "road" for some time. Is there a way in the new Transportation management module to handle - Goods in Transit, to see what is Shipped from Company A but not yet arrived in Company B. - Normal sales orders not Transfer orders.

I have problem on many AX 2012 environments, that when I click on mouse, even it is not clicked computer "remembers" that the mouse is clicked (only on AX 2012), and when I am occasionally on some table, on a field, moving the mouse - because computer "remembers" the mouse is clicked, it drag it, and duplicates the field (that's what drag doing ...)
Seems a kind of bug on AX 2012.
What doing in order to solve this problem?
(That's happen for many customers, who have AX 2012. I didn't encounter the problem on AX 2009).

The BO webpart on the CFO rolecenter has a couple of buttons "Add indicator"/"Manage indicators" (and conversely Add/manage kpi if you were running it in BO mode); these links do not currently work. I've checked my event log and it indicates that there are some "invalid time period" errors.
I have gone back to the SystemAdministration>Setup>BI>AnalysisServices>TimePeriods form and re-imported from AOT, recycled my AOS as well

An Error occured. The data in the workbook and the behaviour or of any add-ins may not be correct. Consider Contacting your system administrator about this problem.

After test upgrade from AX2012R2 to AX2012R3 the Role center does not show as startpage in AX 2012 R3 client.
No problem to access with web browser.
Configuration for Enterprise Portal websites is OK under System administration.
Any ideas?

I recently upgraded from 4.0 to AX2012 and I'm trying to build a simple report in Crystal to show Customer Account, Name, Address, but I'm struggling with table joins and hope someone would be kind enough to steer me in the right direction.
I am joining CustTable to DirPartyTable by fields (PARTY > RECID)
DirPartyTable to LogisticsLocation (PRIMARYADDRESSLOCATION > RECID)
LogisticsLocation to LogisticsPostalAddress (RECID > LOCATION)
...but I'm getting double records - I have tried all kinds of different join types but the results are the same.
Are my joins even correct? I would really appreciate any direction on this.

We have been facing this strange error on some insert/update/delete calls to some of the table methods where there is some other code inside these methods which is also using ttsbegin/ttscommit in AX 2012 Feature pack. ttsbegin and ttscommit is balanced on all levels and declared on same levels every place they are used inside code. I find this behavoir very strange as same code is working in another environment which does have same specifications. Could it be some kernal related issue? Same error does sometimes occur when deleting multiple lines on CustTable form for instance. Any idea what it could be?

According to the prerequisite I have installed MS Visual studio 13 (desktop version )but the setup is still not validating the visual studio error and it causing hindrance for the complete setup to take place though Client has been successfully installed but when I am trying to install developer tools then only this error comes . What version of visual studio to install ,please someone help me with this.

i am a newbie in AX. For our Project we need to implemant alot of Interfaces to other Systems.
We are using the AIF Framework with an IBM MQ Adapter that allows only asychronus communication with the other Systems.
To make Updates for other Systems easier we were thinking about creating a new upseart Service Methode, so the sending system doesn´t need to send an DocumentHash and Rec_ID but still be able to update the records in our staging table.
I would be happy for any help.
By using dynamic negative days in master planning I found out that the method reqCalc::covFindReceipt selects for coverage receipts during negative days first. Only if there is no record found, inventoryOnHand is used for coverage.
I think that this is in fact not right, because the receipt is not on stock and it might take a long time until it will be available.
In my case lead time (and hence negative days) is 28 days and the existing purchase order will be delivered after 26 days. The receipt of the purchase order is used for coverage instead of the inventoryOnHand (which is available and on stock).
The reason for this that the inventoryOnHand is selected with lower priority (documented in the method).
Does anyone share my opinion or did I forget sth to consider?

I have some sales orders lines which were already invoiced in full, but somehow went to pick & delivery note again, but now will not invoice.
How would I go about invoicing these over delivery lines, or reversing the delivery notes?
