Who can share a complete sample of subcontracted work in the production process.
What i want is about how to transfer the raw material to the vendor, and how to get them back when the vendor finish processing it in the Dynamics AX 2012 system.

I use dynamics AX 2009SP1. I have two AOS servers. One AOS is setup as batch server. Last sunday at 20pm, all batch jobs stopped. I didn't change any things in system. I tried restart AOSs, DB. I setup second AOS as batch server. Nothing helped.
I found method BatchRun::runJobStatic(5637164326); it works fine without any errors.
When I should start dig to find source of my problem?

On R1, on a configuration with multiple meters, via configuration form (tab Properties, Functions) when you add new property to one meter, it is shown on all meters. It should be shown only on the meter for which the property is added. (this is a refresh issue, the property is saved correctly but not shown correctly on all meters)

I want import journal transactions from CSV fromat through Data Import/Export Framewrok. I mapped GL Transaction file. Unfortuntely I couldn't find Account Feilds. All Feilds update perfect. Accounts Feild is empty i don't know which one we mapped for account feild. Ledger dimension feild is availbale but I am beginner i don't know how to create ledger dimension.My compnay we didn't configure Ledger Dimesion.
Can anybody give guideline in this regard? If already answered give me the link.

For the last couple of weeks we have been experiencing what appeared to be random AOS crashes on AX 2012 R2 6.2.158.0 (RTM). At Microsoft's request we updated a testing environment to the latest kernel hotfix 6.2.1000.8728, but the crashing continued. We have submitted crash dumps and had previously discovered one process that 100% reproduced the AOS crash on demand, which is fortunate.
After considerable trial and error with various combinations of hotfixes, we have identified KB2976627 MS14-051: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: August 12, 2014 as responsible for this issue. Removing this hotfix has resolved the crashing in our testing environment and we will know by tomorrow if it does the same in our production environment.
We believe that instancing the #HTMLDocumentClassName component (found in the #Help macro file) in the server tier causes the crashing during subsequent garbage collection. That component is used to send HTML based alerts from the server tier, and we used it in custom code to import HTML based data into AX tables (also on the server tier).
In our case, the "random" crashed turned out to correlate nearly perfectly with e-mail alerts, for which records in the SysOutgoingEmailTable can provide historical record to be compared with the 1000 event errors in the application event log.

Am trying to restore some of historical transactions from our old AX 2009 to AX 2012 R2 CU7 mainly on the General Ledger and
sub ledger vouchers. We have identified the tables GeneralJournalEntry and GeneralJournalAccountEntry from LedgerTrans table.
Can you guys suggest if anyone has done a similar thing before and your recommendations on this.

I am trying to configure AX 2012 Adapter in Dynamics Connector during integration with CRM 2011. I have installed it using AX 2012 R2 Setup with CU7. When I click 'Refresh services' button I am facing an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". This error is hindering the configuration process for AX services.
Any suggestions will be of great help.

I have integrated data from .NET Application to AX 2012 through AIF Web Service, When Call this service in .NET Application from different server to integrate bulk amount(500 records) of data in AX 2012 I was getting following error.
"The open operation did not complete within the allotted timeout of 00:01:00. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout."
But, When I integrate small amount of data I does not get this error.
If anyone familiar about AIF Service related timeout error please let me know why this happen and how this happen.

There are no problems with the projects on the development server, everything is compiled without errors or warnings. But when I transfer projects to the production server compilation fails.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea on how to fix that?

I created few Cues by using the List page filter functionality like "save as cue". Now I am trying to use it in role centre page and in order to get this I clicked on Add Cue link. A small window with Add Cue is opening but it is not populating the newly created cues in "Cue to add" list.
I have created the CIL too. Can anyone please point me what step I am missing here.
When receiving items on a purchase order I would like the system to suggest a put location, but I can't seem to get this to work.
There is even a suggest location button taunting me in the screen and pressing it does absolutely nothing. The Location field is just staying blank.
As far as I understand, the system looks at the location directives for this information, and I’ve tried both advanced and pretty basic setups. Are there any other places I should look?

Is anyone using the alternative item number on the item details for anything other than finished goods? We are using process industries and have the need to set up alternate raw materials in our formulas. We need to the system to automatically pick up the alternate material just as it would at the finished good level.
We use the projects module, with a named project manager, who approves expense claims on that project. There may be multiple projects for one client, and each client has a client director. We have used the "employee responsible" field to record the name of the client director. Expenses on a project go to the the project manager for approval, but the manager's own expenses should be reviewed and approved by the client director.
Is it possible to link the workflow for project expenses to the "employee responsible" field in the client record?
I want to set up a quarantine process for purchase order receipt.
Anyone got a good idea on how to set this up?
